Sampford Peverell
This popular village is set in the heart of rural Devon and its proximity to the M5 and the North Devon Link Road means that Taunton, Exeter and Tiverton are all within easy reach. It is also perfectly positioned for exploiting the leisure and recreational possibilities offered on Exmoor, Dartmoor and both the North and South Devon Coasts.
Sampford Peverell is a very sought after village lying only about a mile and a half from Junction 27 of the M5 with its adjoining Parkway station. The picturesque Grand Western Canal runs through the village offering lovely walks along the towpath. The village has a very active community and has a doctor’s practice, two good pubs, a charming old church and an excellent small primary school. The village also falls within the catchment area of Uffculme school - a comprehensive so good that many parents are specifically moving to this area in order to obtain a placement for their children.
The busy market town of Tiverton lies about six miles to the west where a couple of highly regarded independent schools and a further education college can be found. Tiverton also boasts an excellent sports and leisure centre, a wide range of national and independent shops and supermarkets and the town’s excellent 18 hole golf course lies only four miles away.
