Double thumbs-up for Westcountry developer after Rockbeare family chooses them, again

An award-winning Westcountry housing developer has received a double thumbs-up from a Devon couple who have moved into one of their homes for the second time.

This year, for the fifth consecutive year, Cavanna Homes Ltd was awarded the top five-star rating by the Home Builders Federation. The coveted five stars are only awarded to companies who gain a minimum 90 per cent approval rating for buyer recommendation.

Margaret and Adrian Mogg were so pleased with their Cavanna homes the first time around, they chose the family-owned developer again for their most recent house move to the 19-home Rockbeare Briar development, reaffirming the company’s customer satisfaction credentials.

Mr and Mrs Mogg moved into Cavanna Homes’ quiet Rockbeare development near Exeter in May. They were keen to move from a house they bought in Seaton just 15 months before.

Prior to their move to Rockbeare Briar, the couple lived in Okehampton after moving there from their first Cavanna Homes’ property in Kingsteignton, where they lived for eight years.

“Our Kingsteignton home was a beautifully built property,” recalled Margaret. “It was absolutely immaculate and very well designed, as is our new home in Rockbeare. It was a lovely small development just like Rockbeare, and we only relocated to Okehampton because of my husband’s work.

“We moved to Seaton, where we loved to swim every weekend, to be near the sea, but were keen to move out not long after we moved in because of problems with the house.

“The first thing we did was check Cavanna’s website for other developments. We also went to see other developments but the quality and design was far better with Cavanna.”

The Moggs are as happy with their home as they are with the location of the development.

“It’s a lovely area; we’re in the countryside, but also close to Exeter and other small towns, and importantly for my husband’s work, very close to the M5,” continued Margaret.

“We just thought, we can’t fail with a Cavanna home. And another important thing, is that we know we can trust them to do what they say they’ll do, and get back to you when they say they will.

“We were very lucky to get it,” Margaret added. “We initially reserved a plot but had to let it go when the sale of our house fell through. Cavanna Homes were very understanding and luckily, when we managed to secure a new buyer we were able to reserve our new home at Rockbeare Briar.

Cavanna Group Director Martin Cavanna, added: “Customer satisfaction is the driving force of what we do.

“To know that our homebuyers are happy the first time they buy one of our homes is always extremely encouraging, but for us to be chosen again to provide a home for someone is particularly pleasing; it’s added reassurance that our efforts are well worth it.”
