About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating the functions and performance of external consultants in relation to development infrastructure, layout and utilities. You will need to provide technical input during the entire pre-development process, including land, planning and technical stages. In addition, you will be required to provide ongoing support to our commercial and build team during the construction phase, along with post construction assistance with road and sewer adoptions.
You will work closely with our solicitors, local authorities and statutory undertakers to obtain completed legal agreements in relation to roads, sewers and utilities, to enable timely site commencement.

Who we are looking for

You must have suitable experience in the management of consultants undertaking infrastructure design, including roads drainage and utilities, and geotechnical investigation. Knowledge of economic build methods, efficient design techniques and an understanding of the commercial process is also essential.
In addition, experience in the remediation of brownfield sites, appropriate knowledge of the planning process and the management of external works and structural design, would be desirable.
All applicants must be prepared to travel to visit various sites throughout the South West as required.
