Proud to support brilliant community initiatives in Dawlish

To mark the recent opening of our show home at Barley Meadow in Dawlish, we are proud to be funding two important community initiatives in the town.

Dawlish Action for Youth is a centre run by volunteers for 8 to 16-year olds and relies on donations from businesses and the community to stay open and provide a safe environment for young people to learn and socialise.

Diane Parsons, Trustee for Dawlish Action for Youth said: “We’d like to thank Cavanna Homes for their thoughtful donation, which will go towards funding more activities for our young people to enjoy, including connecting our TV screen to the internet to allow users to access music videos”.

We are also supporting the Dawlish Gardens Trust (DGT) – a vocational learning centre for people with learning disabilities, sensory and hidden impairments. The centre is open five days a week for people aged between 14 and 74 years, helping them with everyday skills and preparing them for work.

Lauren Pybus at Cavanna Homes said: “Supporting the communities in which we build is a priority for us, so we are pleased to have found these two brilliant local initiatives doing such excellent work”.
