New homes, gardens and outdoor space across the Westcountry

The past two years have significantly changed what comes at the top of home seekers’ wish lists.  According to research published by The Cumberland Building Society, 85 percent of first-time buyers said that having a garden to relax in and look after at their new home is a must have.

Here at Cavanna Homes, all our gardens are laid with quality seeded turf and are fitted with an outdoor tap ahead of completion, so that homeowners can enjoy their outdoor haven from the moment they move in.

Many of our homes are close to open green space which provides homeowners with additional places to exercise, unwind and explore to help maintain or improve their mental and physical well-being.

Walkers in Country Park near Cavanna Homes' Equinox development

Homeowners at our Equinox community on the outskirts of Exeter, near Pinhoe enjoy using the conveniently located 15-acre Country Park which is within walking distance of the homes. The park is always busy with residents and neighbours running or walking dogs and has features for children’s enjoyment such as stepping stones and willow tunnels.

A bespoke sensory garden is being designed at our new homes development, Cavanna @ Elm Park in Exeter. The garden will have vibrant and scented plants, fruit trees and separate seating pods, each with their own special feature such as a hand-crafted sculpture. The tranquil space has been created to enhance the senses of those who visit it and is recognised as a space to benefit people with dementia.

Families in search of a bigger home with schools and local amenities within walking distance can now reserve one of our energy-efficient homes at Oak Mount in the village of Hemyock, near Cullompton. Located within the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Oak Mount provides future homeowners with village strolls on their doorstep, walks within the substantial public open space on the development, as well as the option for a weekend adventure in the Devonshire countryside.

Later this year we’re bringing forward 140 new two to four-bedroom homes in the rural village of Crossways in Dorset. In addition to the number of circular walks close by to the development at Warmwell Rise, we’re contributing nearly 14 acres of Suitable Alternative Natural Green Space (SANGs), adjacent to the homes for new and existing residents to enjoy.
