Cavanna Homes partners with mental wellbeing charity

We’re pleased to have partnered with the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity (the Lighthouse Club) which provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families.

As a family-owned business, we’re committed to maintaining the wellbeing of our staff and by partnering with the Lighthouse Club, we will be able to support our team members in head office and on-site with access to a wide range of resources.

As part of the partnership, we hope to double the number of mental health first aiders already in the firm, by offering training to employees which is carried out by the charity. Line managers will also receive mental health awareness training as part of their induction process.

Group Managing Director, Grayham Tucker said: “Becoming a Company Supporter of the Lighthouse Club will help us continue improving the support we can offer our staff.

“We already provide colleagues with monthly one-to-one sessions to encourage conversation about mental wellbeing and have recently hosted a Wellbeing Month where a range of workshops were held to benefit colleagues’ physical and mental health.”

Bill Hill, CEO of the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity said: “We’re delighted to have Cavanna Homes on board as one of our Company Supporters.

“As well as ensuring an annual pledge they are underpinning their wellbeing support for their team by accessing all of our charitable services, including our free mental health training.”
