Charity golf day raises £7,500 for Children’s Hospice South West
We were delighted to raise £7,500 for Children’s Hospice South West following our annual charity golf day, which brought together colleagues, suppliers, subcontractors and business partners from across the South West for a fantastic day of fundraising.
The event saw teams take to the course in glorious sunshine before coming together for an evening charity auction, helping to raise vital funds for the regional children’s hospice charity.
The day forms part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the communities in which we build, with all funds raised helping Children’s Hospice South West continue its incredible work supporting babies, children, young people and their families across the region.
Paul Moran, Managing Director at Cavanna Homes, said: “We were delighted to welcome so many people to our charity golf day and are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown throughout the event.
“Children’s Hospice South West provides invaluable support to families facing some of life’s most difficult challenges, and we are proud to be able to contribute towards the fantastic work the charity carries out every day.
“The weather was certainly on our side, which helped make for a brilliant day of golf, networking and fundraising. We’d like to thank everyone who attended, donated auction prizes and supported the event.”
The event brought together organisations from across the housebuilding and construction sectors, creating an enjoyable day of friendly competition while raising money for a truly worthwhile cause.
Children’s Hospice South West supports more than 500 families across the South West, providing hospice care, emergency care, palliative care and bereavement support for children with life-limiting conditions and their loved ones.
We would like to thank everyone who supported the event and helped us raise £7,500. Together, we hope the funds raised will help Children’s Hospice South West continue delivering its essential services to families across the region.
