Selling Cavanna homes inspired Jazz to buy one of her own

After helping many customers find their dream home, one of our sales advisors is preparing to embark on a homebuying journey of her own – choosing to buy with Cavanna, the company she represents every day.

Jazz Evans, 32, who has worked for Cavanna Homes for two-and-a-half years and is based at our Elm Park development in Exeter, has reserved a four-bedroom Corden home with her partner, Kev Hurn, 41.

The couple, who currently live in a two-bedroom home in Cranbrook, are expecting to move into their new home in November. Having had their eye on their chosen plot for the past two years, they say it will be their forever home.

For Jazz, the decision to buy with Cavanna Homes was an easy one.

She said: “Working for Cavanna has given me the opportunity to see first-hand how much care goes into every home and how customers are looked after throughout their journey. I genuinely love what I do, helping people find the home that’s right for them, so when it came to buying our own home there really wasn’t anyone else I wanted to buy from.

“We did look at other developments, but I just didn’t get that same gut feeling that I get when I walk into a Cavanna home. The quality, the attention to detail and the family ethos of the business really stand out, and it gave us complete confidence in our decision.”

Having worked at Elm Park, Jazz knew exactly which plot she wanted.

Positioned at the end of a cul-de-sac with a south-facing garden overlooking open green space, the home offers everything the couple had been hoping for, including plenty of room for their Cockapoo, Rigby.

She added: “I’d had my eye on this particular plot for around two years. It’s in such a lovely position with the park behind it, and it just feels perfect for us.

“We’ve been buying bits of furniture over the last couple of years ready for the move, so now it finally feels real. We’re really looking forward to having more space, spending time in the garden and hopefully starting a family in the future. We wanted a home we could grow into and stay in for years to come.”

Although buying a home from her own employer might seem unusual, Jazz says being part of the Elm Park team has only strengthened her confidence.

She said: “It’s a really lovely community, and I’ve watched it grow over the last couple of years. I’ve got to know so many of the homeowners already, so it feels really special that we’ll soon be joining them ourselves.”
