Elm Park shortlisted for national safety award
One of our Exeter housing developments is celebrating national recognition for its safety standards for the second year running, after being shortlisted for a prestigious industry award.
Our Elm Park development has been named among the finalists in the 2026 Housebuilder Safety Awards, following its success at last year’s awards when the site was crowned Regional Winner in the Best Small Builder Site category.
The latest accolade continues a strong run of recognition for the team at Elm Park, which has also celebrated success in the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards this year.
Elm Park is now in contention to be named Highly Commended, Regional Runner-Up, Regional Winner or Overall National Winner, with the results due to be announced at an awards ceremony in Birmingham later this month.
Yanni Sechatis, Director of Construction at Cavanna Homes, said: “To see Elm Park recognised nationally for a second consecutive year is a fantastic achievement and something the whole team should be extremely proud of.
“Maintaining high standards of health and safety requires a real collective effort. This recognition reflects the commitment of our site team, subcontractors and colleagues across the business who work hard every day to make sure our homes are built safely and responsibly.
“We set ourselves high standards across all of our developments, so it is particularly rewarding to see the work taking place at Elm Park recognised by the industry once again.”
The results of the 2026 Housebuilder Safety Awards will be announced at the Grand Hotel Birmingham on Friday 30 October.
