We are now looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role:
As our Health & Safety Advisor, you’ll support our site and project teams in maintaining the highest standards of safety across our developments. Based at our Head Office with regular travel to sites throughout the South West, you’ll provide practical guidance, training, and support to ensure health and safety is embedded in day-to-day activities.

You’ll conduct site visits and development audits, advise managers and teams on best practices, investigate incidents and near misses, and deliver engaging toolbox talks and training sessions. You’ll also keep risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation up to date, ensuring everything is compliant with current legislation.

Additionally, you will:
– Liaise with external bodies such as the HSE, local authorities, and contractors as needed
– Provide clear, practical advice that helps our teams work safely and confidently
– Support continuous improvement of our health and safety practices across sites

About You:
To be considered as our Health & Safety Advisor, you will need:

– NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
– Proven experience in a health and safety role within construction or housing development
– Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
– A full UK driving licence (site travel required)
