Why Cavanna Homes is a place people feel supported, valued and able to grow

A recent employee survey across our business has provided a valuable snapshot of life at Cavanna Homes – highlighting a workplace where people feel supported, valued and able to develop.

Carried out mid-way between our more detailed engagement surveys, the results offer an honest reflection of how colleagues are feeling, with strong scores across culture, leadership and collaboration.

A culture people want to be part of

Our survey shows that 80% of our people feel satisfied in their roles, while 82% would recommend Cavanna Homes as a place to work.

That’s reflected in what our team says day to day. Employees talk about “friendly co-workers”, “supportive teams” and a business where “everyone is pulling together despite the challenges”.

Others describe Cavanna simply as “a great place to work”, with a real sense of pride in both the company and the people within it.

Leadership that supports and develops

One of the clearest messages from the survey is the support our people feel from their managers. More than 92% say their manager helps them perform at their best, with no negative responses recorded.

That support is felt across the business, with one colleague noting they have “a huge amount of respect for the senior leadership team”, while another said they feel able to “voice concerns without fear of repercussions”.

More than 83% of employees also agree that we provide a clear vision for the future, helping teams feel aligned and confident in where the business is heading.

Training, development and shared knowledge

We continue to invest in training and development across Cavanna Homes, with seven colleagues recently completing a management development programme.

Alongside this, we are strengthening our focus on cross-department collaboration, helping individuals build a broader understanding of the business and develop their skills beyond their immediate roles.

This commitment to learning is reflected in employee feedback, with one team member sharing: “Since I joined Cavanna I’ve progressed well, and that is down to my peers and higher ups pushing me and challenging me.”

A team that supports one another

We recognise that the past year has brought change across the business, and with a smaller team structure, collaboration and support have never been more important.

Encouragingly, the survey highlights a strong sense of teamwork and shared responsibility, with colleagues continuing to support one another and work closely across departments.

As one employee put it: “I continue to thoroughly enjoy my role within Cavanna Homes.”

Listening and improving

We know how important it is to listen. More than 83% of our people say their views are actively sought and valued.

This is supported by initiatives such as our Cavanna Way committee, which brings together representatives from across the business, alongside a Family Council member and Managing Director, to share ideas and ensure employee voices are heard.

Feedback from across the business reinforces this, with employees saying they feel their “views and input are listened to, respected and encouraged” and that they are “an important member of the team”.

We remain committed to acting on this feedback and continuing to strengthen the positive, collaborative culture that defines Cavanna.

Building careers as well as homes

At Cavanna Homes, people are at the heart of everything we do.

While our structure may evolve, our focus remains the same – to create an environment where people feel supported, valued and able to grow their skills and experience.

It’s this combination of culture, leadership and opportunity that underpins Cavanna Homes as a place where people can build meaningful and rewarding careers.
