Seven Cavanna Homes colleagues complete leadership qualification

Seven of our colleagues have successfully completed a nationally recognised leadership and management qualification designed specifically for the construction and built environment sector.

Funded through the CITB levy, the Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management Practice for the Construction and Built Environment Sector focused on developing practical leadership skills tailored to the challenges of the industry.

Throughout the programme, our managers explored topics including managing a diverse workforce, stakeholder relationships, improving productivity, minimising costs and waste, and working through conflict or difficult situations. The course also encouraged participants to reflect on their own leadership styles and develop coaching techniques to support and motivate their teams.

At Cavanna Homes, we are committed to investing in our people and creating opportunities for colleagues to grow and progress within the business.

Paul Moran, Managing Director at Cavanna Homes, said: “Supporting our people to grow and develop is incredibly important to us, and it’s fantastic to see seven colleagues successfully complete this qualification.

“The construction industry is constantly evolving, and strong leadership plays a huge role in creating productive, collaborative and successful teams. The course has given our managers valuable skills they can apply across the business, while also encouraging them to reflect on their own leadership approach and how they support those around them.”

The qualification was delivered with a focus on real-world construction sector challenges, helping participants strengthen both operational and people management skills.

We’re proud to continue investing in professional development opportunities across the business as part of our commitment to building strong teams and supporting long-term career progression at Cavanna Homes.
