Wincanton is a small historic town in southeast Somerset and the perfect place to call home. The surrounding countryside is diverse and unspoilt with orchards, wooded combes and hills boasting panoramic views of Somerset and neighbouring counties of Dorset and Wiltshire.

In the town, you will find several pubs and restaurants, a library, post office and local shops. Two supermarkets are within a few minutes walk of the development, with a doctor’s surgery and vets close by as well, providing you with all you need within easy distance from your home.

Wincanton is classed as a market town with a popular Farmer’s Market held once a month and several nearby towns have monthly markets too, selling fresh product, antique trinkets, crafts and more. Within walking distance of Cales Reach is Wincanton Primary School and King Arthurs Community School.

Wincanton is also home to an excellent sports centre, offering activities such as swimming, badminton, hockey and a fitness suite. The large sports ground has football pitches, a rugby pitch, a cricket square and tennis courts. Throughout the year, Wincanton Racecourse holds numerous races and other events, with a 9-hole golf club on site too.

There are three train stations near Wincanton; Templecombe, Bruton and Castle Cary, which provide regular services throughout the South West and to London. The town is also close to the A303 giving you easy access for exploring this stunning part of the country such as the nearby towns of Yeovil, Shaftesbury and Warminster.
